Tennis in the United States is played on three kinds of places: public park courts run by a city or county, member clubs and country clubs with their own pros and leagues, and commercial tennis centers that sell court time by the hour. Public courts are usually free and first come, first served, with a posted limit (often 60-90 minutes when others are waiting); busier cities run online reservation systems with a small fee and a permit for the season. Indoor courts are rented by the hour and booked days ahead in winter. Most facilities are hard courts; clay is common in the Southeast and at private clubs, and grass is rare. Lights extend play into the evening at many parks, sometimes with a coin or app-operated switch.

Fairfield is in Ohio, in the Midwest, where summers are warm, winters are cold and snowy, and most errands are done by car; businesses keep steady year-round hours with the usual holiday changes. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fairfield follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. This place has lots of grass for your own tent, but no umbrellas. Seating is limited for watching, but most people just stay in their tents. The food is cooked fresh and good (mostly burgers/hot dogs). The only problem is the pool is so shallow that many of the older swimming scrape knees and toes on the bottom. So, bring bandaids if your child is older.

My daughter is on a swim team that swims at the pool so I am not reviewing the normal day-to-day operations. Nice pool, good area.

Great old school pool. They just redid the pool paint and it looks great. Nice people. Great snack shack with old school staples. We all love it.
